Our third album
We next recorded for a friend of ours, Richard Porter. He was doing a recording class as an independent study, and needed someone to record we naturally volunteered. He recorded us in many different ways. Hed set up one mic in front of all of us. Hed mike us and the two vocal speakers we usually had set up. Hed record us on the Colleges 8-track. Etc., etc. We eventually recorded some songs. We did You Groove Too (funny metal song), The End of Summer, Disappointment, and a cool little instrumental (maybe a few others, too). David also played brushes to an otherwise accapella rendition of Amy Grants Spiritual Baby, and David, Brian, and some other guy stumbled through an "original" composition of Richards a combination of Chattanooga Choo-Choo and Dont Stand Underneath the Apple Tree it really ended up sounding more like a train wreck than anything else. |
